Pretendly is glad to be gearing up for the A+ Autism Conference, in which we were invited to participate as a vendor. We’re eager to share our neurodiverse family’s story and fun clothing, accessories, and gifts designed from our daughters’ original artwork. The Autism Conference is an annual event sponsored by the Autism Professional Learning and Universal Supports Project (A+), the Autism Training and Technical Assistance Project (ATTA), and Autism McLean.

The Pretendly Girls are thrilled to have been asked to design the official art design for this special CIAA event. Their art will be featured on all Central Illinois Autism Association Walk promos and shirts. Join CIAA’s 15th Annual Autism Walk - a 1 mile walk plus an informational fair, food, kids zone, and good times! The funds made from the event help CIAA provide grants and sensory events. Please help empower the Autism community in Central Illinois.

Pretendly’s thrilled to return to ArtsPartners’ Ignite Peoria, a FREE immersive creative event at the Peoria Civic Center! You may find our Pretendly Fam at our vendor booth in the Sensory Ignite section from 10am until 2pm. We’ll be in great company with other inclusive and impactful organizations. The overall Ignite Peoria event is from 9am until 5pm while Sensory Ignite will be open from 10am until 2pm. The entire Ignite Peoria event is FREE and offers innovation, arts, and hands-on experiences for ALL ages. Come for the fun, the interactive play, and the community!

Our family has been invited to set up shop at The Peoria Music Community Women’s Cooperative’s Inaugural First Friday Open Mic. The Pretendly girls will even be making their PMC Open Mic singing debut! Check it out on Friday, May 5th at 5:30pm-8:30pm at North Art Studios at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (3601 N. North Street; Peoria, IL). This one of a kind studio space houses several artist studios, workshops, and galleries that will be open to the public. These local artists will have their work on display as well as on sale.

We love our ‘Pretendly Friendlies’ at Picket Fence and their sister organization Blue Ridge Community Farm, and you’ll love them too!

Our oldest Pretendly Kid enjoyed having her original artwork “The Woman” (16” x 20” Canvas Print) displayed at Siren Tattoo Studio’s ‘Artist Alley’.

The Pretendly Mom served as Guest Speaker for Easterseals’ “Mission Moment” to share her family’s unique journey that led them to Easterseals and the exciting venture her family has embarked on in creating their own company, Pretendly.

The Pretendly Kids’ artwork may be found on display at Easterseals Learning Academy. “Lost Zebra in the Night” by our oldest daughter and “Rainbow Paint” by our youngest daughter are on display at the Germantown Hills school. It is currently still on display at this location.

The Pretendly Kids are thrilled to have artwork displayed at Looks Like Magick Hair Salon. The Owner showed interest and generously offered up space to display “Curious” (16” x 20” Framed Print).
